Jack P. Johnson, Director
Jack P. Johnson is a photographer and filmmaker with degrees in History (B.A.) and Communication & Media Arts (M.M.A.) from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He is a published photographer and is a frequent contributor to the Detroit Area Art Deco Society’s Modern Magazine.
While in Graduate School Jack worked at Wayne State University’s Marketing and Communication Department producing promotional material used by the University. His work has involved many short commercial videos, and Al Jazeera has featured his work. Jack’s first feature-length documentary, Parducci the Man Who Made Detroit Beautiful (2016) premiered at the Freep Film Festival in Detroit, Michigan in 2016.
Jack sits on the board of directors of the Detroit Area Art Deco Society.
Jennifer Baross, Producer
Jennifer is a designer and has a passion for preserving Detroit’s architectural treasures and a commitment to our built environment.
Since 2009, Jennifer has lectured on Detroit’s leading architectural sculptor Corrado Parducci at Detroit’s Masonic Temple, Meadow Brook Hall, Detroit Historical Museum, and the Marshall Fredericks Sculpture Gallery on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University. In 2012, she co-founder of the Parducci Society, an organization dedicated to cultivating an interest in architectural ornamentation, and serves on the board of the Detroit Area Art Deco Society.
She produced the 2016 documentary film, Parducci the Man Who Made Detroit Beautiful.
